Yesterday I shared A New Overcoat. That article was published two months after The Accident.  Today I encourage you to read a post from two months later: I have amazing friends!

It was four days before Andrew’s birthday, his first in Heaven. Andrew was born on Christmas Eve, so the next week was going to be hard and potentially full of tears.

I woke up that morning to a text from my sweet friend Kathy. She and her husband love us well. (Brett was Ron’s backup in case he couldn’t make it through the eulogy at Andrew’s Memorial Service.) They listen without judgement but speak truth in love. They meet us for dinner when we travel nearby, put us up when when are in their town, and they even met us in NYC for a fun weekend. But most importantly, the pray for us and encourage us to become more Christlike daily.
