If you have loved ones you wish would turn from their sin…

If it seems to have been so long…

I want to encourage you. 

Don’t give up! 

Trust God. 

Pray without ceasing. 

You are not alone. God hears your prayers. 

My mom was a bitter, abusive drunk. I prayed for 14 years after I became a Christian that she would get sober. She didn’t go to AA or get sober. 

But…

In her last hours, she accepted Christ. She prayed. She believed. She died physically but she lives eternally!

Our last conversation I told her, “Mom, I’ll be there as soon as I can. I love you.”

She responded, “Same to you.”

I never heard my mom say, “I love you.” But I cherish those last three words from her! ❤

She did the best she could in her broken, sinful state. 

But, because she was saved by grace through faith, my mom is now alive in the presence of Christ! 

And though we didn’t have time to have a wonderful relationship on earth, we will have eternity together worshipping before the throne of God. 

Your prayer may not be answered the way you desire or expect. It may not happen today or tomorrow. But God hears the prayers of His children and answers them.
