Hard Week

Yucky stuff has happened this week. Horrible stuff. Stuff I can’t share because it is not my story. I hurt when my kids hurt. I wish I could fix it. I can’t. God can.

God is still on the throne.

I have been watching for weeks to see if the Hawks will come back again this year. I saw them this afternoon! They are home from their winter travels and will soon have babies. I enjoy knowing they are home.

Thank you, Father, for sending the Hawks back again this year. I enjoy them. They remind me of Grandmother Estes and Grandma Duncan who loved birds. They remind me that Your eye is in the sparrow (or hawk). Thank you for loving me and for grace.  Amen.
