I Won’t Give Up

This video is from August 2012. I was in the audience. I loved watching Andrew dance. This was before he spent a year as a professional dancer and dance major at West Texas A & M University. One of his professors is sending me video from his last dance recital in spring 2013. It was not supposed to be his last recital. Not by my plans anyway. I may share those when I get them. For now, I hope you enjoy this one.

Sarah had injured her knee a day or two before. So they had to redo the choreography the night prior to the show! I adore watching this. It is so sweet. Just like he was.

  1. So beautiful. his grace and passion reminds me of someone I lost long ago and still grieve deeply and quietly. Thank you for sharing this dance. I love it and it opened flood gates in a hardened heart as I watched. God is good and always faithful. Ps61:3,4

          • Ephesians chapter one contains a prayer that I ha e prayed for my adult children for years!

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

          • Thank you, Kathleen, for reminding me of this verse. I’m going to put it on a lovely card beside my prayer spot in my writing room. ❤ Praying Scripture adds a boldness, peace, and hope like nothing else can.
