Travel Map
If you have followed this blog for a while, you have read about my traveling with my husband. Here is a graphic that shows the states we have visited in the past fifteen months.
We plan to travel to Montana, Idaho and North Dakota in August or September. A perfect time to be out of North Texas! And I hear Yellowstone is beautiful that time of year!
We need to be in Cape Cod and Sarasota Springs in the fall. I’m hoping we can visit Delaware and Rhode Island on that trip. I’m not sure how far of a drive it would be to Maine from where Ron’s meetings are, but if we ran up there on a weekend, that would make all 48 contiguous states in less than two years!
We will spend a few days in Boston. Our dear friend and and one time babysitter will be a visiting professor at Harvard Law this year.
Plus, 🎶 I have never been to Boston in the Fall! 🎶
And for those who got that Veggie Tales reference, I hope you have that song stuck in your head….🎶”We are the Pi-rates who don’t do anything, we just stay hoooome and lay around….”🎶
The truth is that even after a tragedy like having my son killed along with four of his friends in a horrible car wreck, life goes on! We can have joy and peace. We can enjoy new adventures! We can even crack silly jokes!
Jesus Christ was Lord before The Accident and He is still Lord.
Though I will always miss my son, I choose to live with joy!
Have a wonderful day! Find JOY today!
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
