Playing with my camera
On the drive from Salt Lake City to Pocatello, Idaho, we stopped to take pictures.
God’s creation.
Majestic.
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
I stuck my phone out the window at different angles and clicked a few pictures. The lighting was amazing. I may frame a couple of these. And you may see them again in future posts.

Very sublime. I like them and the words too 🙂

The words aren’t mine. 😉
But they were give for me and for anyone else who is willing to listen.

Love the skies in these. Sometimes nature doesn’t need any help at all!

My thoughts when I saw the shots!
These are the shots that made me want to learn more about photography.

Thank you.
If we ever go back to Idaho, I will be able to use some of the techniques I’ve learned in Photo 101 to get great shots. I’m not sure I’ll ever get better ones though. The lighting was perfect for these!

These are so beautiful! Love the color! The first and last are my favorites! Definitely worth framing! 🙂

Amazing that those are without any editing! Just the angle of the sun made the lighting great! I wish I had taken more photos.
