I wrote this back in the spring, but needed a reminder this week.

Today I choose to trust You.
Today I choose to not be anxious about anything.
Today is in Your hands.
Today I will remember that You are close to broken-hearted.

Today I will praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Today I will think on those things that are true and noble and right and pure and lovely and admirable and excellent and praiseworthy.
Today I will strive toward being holy as You are holy.
Today I will rejoice because You are near.

Today I will live for today.
Today I choose to not worry about tomorrow.
Today I choose to accept God’s forgiveness  for past failures.
Today I will not live in the what if’s.

Today I will try do the best I can with Your help.
Today I will trust You with my adult children. They are Yours.
Today I will be grateful for all I have.
Today I will not resent what was has been taken from me.

Today I will not be concerned about what may or might or should happen.
Today. Not yesterday or tomorrow.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is in Your hands.
Today is all I have. Help me make the most of it.
