Dear mommas of young children,
Yes, you will mess up. Yes, you will lose your temper at times. Yes, you will yell and feel bad about it. You are not perfect.
But you can know Him who is Perfect.
When you lose your temper, yell, or mess up, ask forgiveness from your child and God. Then try again.
Take a nap if needed. All of you. Really. Climb on the bed together and snuggle and rest.
One or two or ten failures do not mean that you are a failure. They mean that you need mercy and grace. Both are available at the cross.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
