All of these young men are in heaven. Their lives were too short for my liking. I am thankful for their lives. And for their parents who continue to live in Christ. These parents show me how to live by faith. They show grace to me and others. They grieve and rejoice. They give me hope.

Lord,

Thank you for the hope we have in Christ. Thank you for the assurance we can have in knowing You and knowing that we have eternal life.

Amen

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

The Accident was on August 12, 2013. For months the 12th brought me to tears. Then, about a year later, I decided to choose gratitude and healing rather than sorrow.
This month, I am taking the “Thanksgiving Challenge” and am posting Twelve Things I Am Grateful for in November each day for thirty days.

Please tell me what you think about this post.
