In my life I have faced trials and suffering, but I also experienced great comfort. I am grateful for the comforts afforded me by living in America.
- Air conditioning
- Gas heat
- Running water. Clean water.
- My bed
- A nice home
- Safe neighborhood
Thank you for the comforts we have in our life. But mostly, today, I want to thank you for sending the Comforter. I have needed Him greatly this past few years. I needed comfort many times. I needed help and teaching. Thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to swell in me and in all believers.
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper [Comforter], that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
John 14:16-17 |NASB
The Accident was on August 12, 2013. For months the 12th brought me to tears. Then, about a year later, I decided to choose gratitude and healing rather than sorrow.
This month, I am taking the “Thanksgiving Challenge” and am posting Twelve Things I Am Grateful for in November each day for thirty days.
