What smells are you grateful for?
Lord,
Thank you for the sense of smell. My kids tell me I have a freaky sense of smell and I know You gave it to me. You could have made the world without smell. No floral scents, no aromas. But You chose to give us beauty even in smells. Help me to spread the fragrance of the knowledge of Your Son Jesus Christ that others may experience the beauty of knowing Him.
Amen
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

The Accident was on August 12, 2013. For months the 12th brought me to tears. Then, about a year later, I decided to choose gratitude and healing rather than sorrow.
This month, I am taking the “Thanksgiving Challenge” and am posting Twelve Things I Am Grateful for in November each day for thirty days.
