This month I am grateful for many things that come with Christmas.
- Nativity sets
- Christmas trees
- Christmas lights
- Christmas cards
- Christmas carols
- Shopping for gifts to give
- Opening gifts on Christmas Day
- Traveling to see family
- Stuffing Stockings
- Holiday meals
- Holiday memories
- Jesus Christ, Son of God, born to die that I may live eternally
Lord,
Thank you for sending Your son. Thank you for all the wonderful Christmas things we see as we shop and celebrate Christmas. As we go through this day season, help me to be patient and kind to all the clerks and business people I deal with. They are so busy this time of year! They need a smile and kind word. Let me be the one to give them the gift of joy and kindness.
Amen
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

The Accident was on August 12, 2013. For months the 12th brought me to tears. Then, about a year later, I decided to choose gratitude and healing rather than sorrow. Thus “Twelve Things I am Thankful for on the 12th”.
