Three day Quote Challenge: Day 3

Three Day Quote Challenge: Day 3

Don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it.

― Cyrill Connolly

He went to the church, and walked about the streets, and watched the people hurrying to and for, and patted the children on the head, and questioned beggars, and looked down into the kitchens of homes, and up to the windows, and found that everything could yield him pleasure. He had never dreamed of any walk, that anything, could give him so much happiness.

Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

My blogging buddy Lew-Ellyn Hughes has invited me to participate in a Three Day Quote Challenge. What fun!

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the blogger who nominated you. Thank you,Lew-Ellyn!
2. Publish three quotes on three consecutive days on your blog. It can be your own, or from a book, movie or from anyone who inspires you. (I am posting two each day. I rarely follow rules.)
3. Nominate three more bloggers to carry on this endeavor.

Today I am challenging all my followers: Post a favorite quote in the comments, please.
