Twelve Things I Am Grateful for on the 12th

Even though I’m taking a break from writing this month, I am not taking a break from gratitude! You can see my other gratitude lists by clicking on “12 Things I’m Grateful for On the 12th” in the category cloud below.

February. Valentine’s Day. These are things I am thankful for.

    Love shared among family

    Elephants frolicking with their babies

    Night time, quiet and peaceful

    Twilight. Texas has beautiful sunsets.

    Ivory lace

    New friends

    Eternal life beginning today

    You, my readers.

Thank you for the love you show us daily! Thank you for loving us enough to make a way for us to know you, to have  fellowship with you, and to spend eternity with you. I love you, Lord.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:4-10 | NIV

The Accident was on August 12, 2013. For months the 12th brought me to tears. Then, about a year later, I decided to choose gratitude and healing rather than sorrow. Thus “Twelve Things I am Thankful for on the 12th”.

Please tell me what you think about this post.
