When folks asked me if I liked to ride, I used to say, “No. But I like my husband and he likes to ride.” But now that I have improved in skill and endurance, I love it!
I’m not very fast! But we ride in such lovely places! And we ride together!
At home my riding partner is a 64 year old gal whom I adore. It’s so much fun! We chat the whole time. Probably a sign that we’re not working hard enough.😉
I usually ride by myself, I don’t think I could ride and talk at the same time…LOL. I can see a difference from when I start riding in the spring to the end of fall. I can get faster and stronger. I try to push myself. Be safe out there and enjoy the ride!
My husband travels a bunch for work. Since all seven of our kids are out of the house now, I get to tag along! Sometimes we take breaks for fun, like we did this day. Just a couple of hours to stop, eat, and ride our bikes. We’ve been to forty-five states in the past two years!
When we were first married, my husband used to work 60-100 hour work weeks. I went to work with him many times just to be able to see him! There was no traveling though — just stuck in an office. Your version sounds more fun! 🙂
Some days, like right now, I’m in a hotel while he is in Manhattan meeting with customers. But I get to kiss him good night when he gets back later. And that is much better than sitting alone back home in Texas!
I love biking, great exercise and way to be out enjoying nature!
