Today’s theme is Solitude and the lesson is “The Rule of Thirds”.
I walked around the commercial area of a Philadelphia suburb while Ron demo’ed the equipment this morning. I found a small playground with some lovely trees. It seemed a place where one might come on a lunch break for some peace and solitude in the midst of a busy workday.
I write about my life, my journey, my family, and my faith.
I am wife to one, mom to seven with one in heaven, and grandmother to many. I am also full-time caregiver to my stepmom E who suffers from dementia due to Alzheimer’s.
In my spare time I like to read, travel, crochet, bike, and play with our black pug Molly.
I thought it would be a great place to spend lunch break for a stressed executive assistant! Thinking back to my days of working full time, I could’ve used a spot like that a few times.

If I’d known, I’d have made a counseling appointment! Or taken you to lunch!
