Photo 101 Day 19: Double and Rotate

The wild flowers are beginning to bloom! I love walking around our property and seeing tiny wild flowers blooming all around!

My gerbera daisies are also blooming.

  • Hi, Kathleen! I love these pictures of springtime flowers, as well as your posts about the grieving process. Since grief is such a misunderstood emotion, it’s good to know that there are those who wish to start and continue the conversation on grief so more people will understand and heal, too. Great work! I’ll be following your blog.

I’ve also nominated you for the Liebster Award, one of many blogger-generated awards in the blogger community that recognizes fellow bloggers. To accept this award and to find out more about it, please visit my acceptance and FAQ post here: https://onesunnyplace.wordpress.com/2016/04/01/one-sunny-place-liebster-award-2016/

      • That’s okay, and thanks for letting me know. 🙂 I may reach a point where I don’t accept a lot of them, either, but it has helped encourage me to keep going with blogging a little. Thanks again for RSVP’ing.

    • Regarding grief…

I started this blog just to let others know how we were doing after The Accident. I never planned to write. But it became a great way to get thoughts out of my head!

February I took a break from writing and did February Favorites where I posted old articles, mostly on grief.

Doing the Photo 101 class was great! I wrote about all kinds of other topics! I’m excited to be doing the A to Z Challenge this month. It’ll help motivate me to keep writing and to choose new topics.

I’m working on putting together a “June 1-30 Challenge” that anyone can join in on. It will be 30 dates of prompts/challenges each based on the number in the date. I think it will be fun!

      • Sounds great! I hadn’t planned to write on grief or do anything the way I’m doing it now, so our stories sound about the same. I encourage you to keep it up!

I just found out today that I’ve been accepted to present on the grieving process and the importance of having a support network especially during times of grieving. I’ve spoken at the conference before, so this will be my third time speaking there. That June challenge sounds like fun! I’ll check it out when it gets closer to time.
