Vacation
Day 7 Seven Days Off
June 7, 1982. Priscilla Presley opened Graceland to the public.
Many Elvis fans have taken vacations to Memphis just so they can tour Graceland.
Where would you like to visit on your next vacation? What would you do with seven days off? What is your idea of a perfect week-long vacation?
This is an easy one for me!
I’d go to Chattanooga, Tennessee. In fact, I was there for two weeks in May to study James and to see my kids & grandkids! I’m going back there for a week-long study of Galatians in July.
I’ll write about it when I get back, but now I need to get started on my homework!

I miss Tennessee…I lived in Nashville and have cousins in Chattanooga…what a wonderful city!

Definitely the beach. I love being around the ocean. I have a job that keeps me busy in the city and yearn for the serenity of the ocean.

I love this! Had me laughing out loud.
PS. I like snakes. But would have had the same reaction if they had been slugs. I hate slugs.

Snakes just make me shudder. Slugs are icky, but they’re not evil. Snakes are evil!

Slugs are evil. They leave a trail of evil slime everywhere they go! Yuck!

Okay, you got me on that one. And they eat your plants, too. Still. Snakes. Brrrrrr.

Snakes eat the rats and field mice around my house.
Now rattlesnakes…that’s a whole different story! They get shot on sight!
