Day 15 Fifteen Sentences
June 15, 1752. Benjamin Franklin flew a kite during a storm. His experiment demonstrated the link between electricity and lightning.
Today is your chance to experiment! Try a new writing style. Write about anything you wish. But you must write exactly fifteen sentences. No more. No less.
Today I am driving to Denver. I am going to see my sweet stepmom and my big brother, two people I adore. On the way I will pass The Accident site, that is, IF I choose to go that route. I am not yet sure if I want to drive that way of the other.
I miss my kid. He made me feel like a good mom. He laughed and loved well.
The last time I saw him was the Friday morning before The Accident when my stepmom and I took him out for a huge breakfast and then grocery shopping.
Had I known that would be the last time I saw him alive, I would have stayed longer. I would have hugged him harder. I would have taken pictures of the three of us together.
But I did not know.
A few friends mentioned him this week and others posted pictures. Some I had never seen.

I can’t begin to image the grief you experience on a daily basis. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you. Most days are good! I miss him, but have found healing in Christ. Some days, though….
