Fun Brain Games for Adults is a missing piece that I have needed for years in my Speech-Language Pathology practice. It was so hard to find adult appropriate material that did not look childish and offend some of my patients. I love the variety of activities. I don’t have to carry around armfuls of books now, because I can treat multiple objectives from one source. I can also use the books to obtain responses in multiple ways: reading, writing, singing, story telling, problem solving, recall, etc. An added bonus is that this book is easily accessible and affordable for my families to purchase for their loved ones. I am excited about having this great tool to use in my home health speech therapy visits. . I can’t wait for all the new additions. I have ordered them for my entire Speech Therapy team.
This is an excellent book for adults with cognitive decline. Assorted activities such as fill in blanks word association, etc. my family member has been enjoying it. I like that it doesn’t mention “dementia” on the cover or anywhere else. Perfect. I hope there will be more volumes coming out. Highly recommend.
